MACHINE MITERED CORNERS

Machine miters are more accurate than hand cut miters because they are done using precision machinery that is specifically designed for this purpose. The machine cuts the angles with high precision and consistency, resulting in a perfect fit for the materials being joined. Hand cut miters, on the other hand, rely on the skill and experience of the person cutting them, which can vary greatly from person to person. Even the slightest error in the angle of the cut can result in an inaccurate miter joint, leading to gaps and inconsistencies in the final product. Additionally, machine miters can be adjusted and fine-tuned to achieve the exact angle and fit required, while hand cut miters are limited by the skill level of the individual cutting them. Overall, machine miters are a more reliable and consistent option for achieving accurate and precise miter joints.

EAVESTROUGH

Seamless eavestrough systems are created on site using a specialized machine that forms each section to the exact length needed for your building. This means that there are no seams or joints along the length of the eavestrough, except at the corners where they are joined. This eliminates the potential for leaks or water damage that can occur at the seams of traditional eavestrough systems.

We use a hidden bracket system to install the eavestrough every 18 inches. This ensures that the eavestrough is securely attached to the building and can withstand the weight of heavy rainfalls or snow. For areas with even heavier snowfall or tree coverage, we can install continuous hanger systems by Alu-Rex. This provides even greater support and strength to the eavestrough system, ensuring that it can withstand even the harshest weather conditions.

Our onsite seamless eavestrough installation services are a popular choice among our clients due to their durability, efficiency, and aesthetic appeal. With no seams or joints along the length of the eavestrough, the system looks sleek and seamless, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the building.

ELBOW BENDING

Onsite downspout bending is a superior option when it comes to creating functional and attractive rainwater management systems. Compared to conventional 70° elbow pieces, onsite bending allows for greater customization and precision, resulting in a more effective and efficient system.

One of the main advantages of onsite downspout bending is the ability to create one-piece offsets. This is particularly useful when trying to navigate around brick ledges or other obstacles on the building. With onsite bending, our team can create offsets of varying lengths and angles to ensure that the rainwater is directed away from the building and towards the appropriate drainage system. These one-piece offsets are much more secure and reliable than using multiple elbow pieces, which can lead to leaks and other issues over time.

Another benefit of onsite bending is the ability to create one-piece goose necks. This is a curved section of downspout that is used to direct the rainwater away from the building and towards the ground. With onsite bending, we can create custom goose necks of varying lengths and angles to ensure that the water is directed exactly where it needs to go. This results in a more efficient and effective system that is less prone to clogs and other issues.

PAINT PROGRAM

When it comes to home renovations, it’s important to choose materials and colors that blend well with the rest of your home. This is especially true when it comes to aluminum work, such as eavestroughs, soffits, and fascia. Fortunately, Gentek and Dulux Paints have made it easy to match other areas of your home to your new aluminum work with their color-code system.

The color code system is a unique program that assigns a code to each color in their respective palettes. This code is used to ensure accurate color matching across all their products, including aluminum work and paint. This means that you can easily match your eavestroughs and other aluminum work to the existing colors of your home.

One of the biggest advantages of the color code system is that it takes the guesswork out of color matching. There’s no need to hold up paint samples or try to match colors by eye. Instead, you can simply provide the color code to your contractor or supplier, and they can ensure that the color of your new aluminum work matches perfectly with the rest of your home.

In addition to making color matching easy, the color code system also ensures that you can easily touch up or repaint your aluminum work in the future. Since the exact color code is recorded, you can easily purchase touch-up paint that matches your aluminum work and apply it as needed.

At the end of the day, the color code system offered by Gentek and Dulux Paints is a game-changer for anyone looking to upgrade their aluminum work. With this system in place, you can rest assured that your new eavestroughs, soffits, and fascia will blend seamlessly with the rest of your home, giving it a cohesive and polished look.
